Mário Oliveira expressed great satisfaction with what he saw and heard from the teams working at the Government Data Center and the National Cloud, where progress is moving at a very rapid pace. Regarding TPA (Televisão Pública de Angola), and in the context of the second phase of an ongoing project to modernize its technical, technological, and operational processes, Mário Oliveira received a briefing and toured the broadcaster’s studios, where work is now in the final stages. At Cefojor (Training Center for Journalists), Mário Oliveira assessed the progress of construction work in specific areas of the facility and was briefed on the timeline for completing the remaining tasks.
At Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA), a comprehensive "Signal Expansion and Modernization Project" (known as PEMx) is currently underway. This initiative focuses on upgrading technical and technological infrastructure and internal processes, as well as providing staff training—with a major emphasis on modernizing RNA studios across the country. This effort is expected to have a significant impact, ensuring that the public radio service continues to fulfill its essential role of informing, educating, and entertaining citizens throughout the nation.
After observing the progress at RNA, Mário Oliveira expressed his satisfaction with the achievements to date and commended the project teams. He was also briefed on the schedule for the next 15 days, which includes planned activities across the first five provinces (excluding Luanda). "The technological modernization of Rádio Nacional de Angola marks a historic milestone for the media sector, enabling the broadcaster to operate on par with leading global radio stations—both in terms of technology and the quality of service provided to the public," said Mário Oliveira. During the visit to the various facilities, Mário Oliveira was accompanied by Secretaries of State Nuno Albino and Ângelo João, as well as senior officials from the sector.
